Friendship - True Vs Fake

Friendship

How do you differentiate a fake and a true friendship. Honestly, I really value friendship. Someone who still likes you despites your weaknesses. Friends who are sincere and true. But, how exactly would you know if a person is fake or if a person is true to you?

I did a research online and I came to see this and totally agree it and I would like to share it around. I hope to let my friends aware about a true and fake friends

The Differences in Fake Friends Versus Real Friends

Fake: Asks for favors often, but never offers to do favors for you. In fact, they may refuse or feel burdened if they do anything for you
Real: Will offer to help before you even ask and if you do ask, they help out, willingly and without resentment

Fake: Talks about you behind your back
Real: If they have a problem with you, they discuss it, face to face, and in a respectful and mature manner.

Fake: One-dimensional. They see only their needs and is oblivious to needs of others. They often use you as a sounding board and you rarely get a word in.
Real: They are in-tune enough to sense your pain, your needs and are supportive. They are the type who listens attentively and with concern and interest. Each of you will have your time to vent and be heard. It won't be one-sided as it is with a fake friend.

Fake: Full of excuses for why they have no time for you - often only coming around when they want something and that something isn't YOU
Real: Wants to make time for you because they genuinely enjoy being with you and "choose" to nurture the friendship

Fake: Their actions don't back up their words. Promises are often broken and you can't trust much of what they say or do. You never really get to know who they are because they wear a mask of deception.
Real: Their actions are proportionate to their words, instilling trust and dependability. They are the first person you think of where trust is concerned. You know them in depth because they have opened up in a way that allows you to know and trust them.

Fake: Makes fun of your imperfections, passing their words off as a joke
Real: Overlooks your imperfections and if you choose to improve yourself, they are encouraging and supportive. They may even join in.

Fake: Will try to lead you down a destructive path
Real: Will encourage you to go down a constructive path. They will be by your side as you do.

Fake: Will drain your energy dry, often causing you stress in their presence.
Real: Will enhance your energy and make you feel more alive.

Fake: Asks to borrow money often and never pays you back
Real: Only asks to borrow money if it's a true need and always pays back in a prompt manner. Willing to lend you money, if need be

Fake: Cuts you down quite frequently. You begin to wonder if they are jealous or very insecure.
Real: Builds you up and acknowledges your accomplishments, no matter how small. They are happy about good things happening to you as if they were happening to them. They aren't jealous, but encouraging.

Fake: You feel like running from
Real: You feel like running to

Anyway, Christmas just over and soon it will be New Year. Thinking of my new year resolution.

I hope to be able to find a better company who would compensate fairly. I can't believe that I'm being so underpaid and I'm still staying in the Co for so long. I guess I should have make my move soon.

Can you believe that:
1) I don't have 13 months and only discretionary bonus which I never get before.
2) I only have 14 days of leave, there is no such things as marriage leave and during my probation period, I can't take MC. I was forced to take my year end leave if I'm sick and I'm suppose to pay for my own medication during the probation period.
3) I have to pay for employer and employee CPF for the commission I earned
4) During bad economy, initially they plan to cut 10% of my salary and gave 2 days unpaid leave. However, when the letter is out, its just pure pay cut.

there is no motivation to stay at all, I guess I manage to stay so long its because I don't really like to go for interview. As I ever experience a bad interviewer and I was so insulted, so intimidated and they are just too mean. I can't believe that some indonesian that works in a private bank can be such a mean and proud person. Of coz not all like that, but I want to emphasize 2 person, a MAN and a WOMEN who interviewed me in a private bank 2 years ago was a real "JERK". I can't believe that they did that to me. I hope I can be stronger and manage to learn a lesson from that. Anyway, THANKS for the experience.. Now I know how BAD a proud interviewer can be... "so sick!!!"

Today is a sunny day after a heavy rain yesterday... haha... so strange, just when i bring my umbrella, then it didn't rain. Anyway, I had a lot of fun yesterday, its been a while since the last time i play with the rain.

I just don't know why I'm so busy with so many things. I've been thinking a lot lately, and it seems like my brain if over occupied. have to delete some of it coz i been having short memory recently.. Oh My!! better do some brain practice before it is deterioting even further. Should i do maths? sudoku? haha... may be i should do that every early in the morning. and some exercises... I have to do a 3 kg min, before fitting into my dress...!!! jia you ar!!!!

When I was young, I always wanted to live a life on my own, away from my parents. I want the life of freedom. Now that I have the life of freedom, but I feel that having to live with parents is still better, so at least when you're feeling down or moody, your parents are there to cheer you up and always be there for you. I miss my brother and my dad a lot. I really wish to make them happy. Its too bad that i'm not staying with them now. I don't know if i am having home sick or i'm just lonely. I missed you daddy and dearest kor kor.... How I wish to have them around Now. to bring me to go eat ice cream or just joke with me.

Early in the morning today, I read the channel news asia website with a title of "The ST index fell 51.64 points to 2,866.28. " I really find it strange. How can it be happening in Singapore. My point is that Singapore economy are largely doing very well, despite the inflation rate which goes as high as it hits 25-year high of 6.6% Posted : 25 Feb 2008. "Channel news asia".

It was 6:10 pm in the afternoon when I left my office I was planning to go to Suntec IT fair with a purpose of buying a birthday present and an external hard disc. I took the mrt together with my colleague to City Hall Mrt. It was crowded as per ussual peak hours time. I was calling up my friend to see if anyone would be free to accompany me to go there. Of course I don't mind going alone as well, because I already know what I wanted to buy and I won't waste so much time in getting it.

I was walking through the City Link area to Suntec. It was a horrible feeling. When people start to squeeze each other along the way. Oh My!!! "Is this Christmas Holiday Season?" It was so crowded body to body kind. What are these people doing? go to IT fair? Shopping? Clubbing? I know its Friday night.. But few years back when I just come to Singapore in year 2000. The crowded on Friday night wasn't that bad. Well, the reason could be in the year 2000 the market are not doing well and people are saving up their money.

It looks like Singapore are growing in terms of its population. Is that Tourists? or Foreigners? I still see a lot of them carrying their shopping bags. Are they really getting so rich? Its either lots of them received a Huge Bonus from the good performance last year or they stressed that market is down today and they are on their splurge shopping to wind down their stress and at the same time trying to boost Singapore economy so that on Monday, the stock market will go up...

Oh Well, my shoes are breaking down on me. I was so embarrassed... I have to buy a shoes when I don't even feel like it.

Anyway, I'm Home now, feeling relax, feeling good.... I like this feeling!!!

I'm so thankful for who I'm today. I've learned a lot from a lot people that I've encountered throughout my Life. Since I was born, I learned to see how my mom sacrifice a lot of things for me. I learned to feel the love given from my mom and my dad. Although at times, I'm not always in a good term with my Mom, but I know that She still wishing me well and happiness. My Dad is my Role Model of a Father whom I can feel most comfortable to speak to. He has a lot of patience and He shows a lot of love to me and to my brother, which I do not know how to describe it. His love always touched my heart to the bottom that I dare not taking advantage of it. I know that He always gave the best to me and my brother. I really feel so glad to have him as my Dad. I only have 1 Elder brother who dotes on me. Although He is so far away and I haven't met him for quite sometimes, 3 years!!! Oh!! So Long!! Anyway, I always have fun with u around. Really miss you so much... I hope to have a family gathering again soon... I'm growing OLD. I really better watch out on my food before i get "botak". I hope to control my salt intake.. haha... trying ar!! hehe...

Last Wed I saw an accident, a lorry crashing a car in front of me. Today which is another Wed, I saw another accident, a car bang a prison car and injured the prisoner, Which cought up the whole traffic. I saw the ambulance took the injured guy away from the prison car. happened almost the same timing, which is after work near almost the same area. So scary de.... but there are lots of Lorry around that area, coz near the Shipping and such. Lots of drivers around that area drive dangerously. See what I saw today?

---MOUNT FABER ---

I went to Mount Faber last Saturday. Sweetie and I was attracted by an attractive christmas tree that is so glaring and pretty. One of the best Christmas light I ever seen in my Life. I'm amazed.... But, when we drove up the mountain, the light gone out le.. The light only on for a period of time.. I took a certain pic there with sweetie. I think it is a romantic place to go during christmas preparation seasons. It gave u the feel. Just that, beware of mosquitoes... haha... fight with them...

Yesterday I was having B'dae Celebration with my dad at VIVO, The foods are good and reasonable. I'm still trying to cut down on food or do more exercise. I hope I'm able to manage my diets... I have to!!!! No matter what, I will either eat so much less, or do more exercises.wahahaha....

I'll be going back to Indo next month during the depavalli weekends... Finally, after waiting for months.... hahaha... Can't wait to travel... I guess, travel is not the word right, I should say, I'm going back home.. But I still hope to be able to go overseas... Haha... May be some months later... haha...

new job

Today is my second day in my new job. It is not bad though, at least my direct boss is easy to get along and very friendly. She also told me to have a life and not to over work. She told me to leave at 6 and not to extend the working hour, coz we all have life to live. I think it is a very good thing, for me at least. :)

My Crabs all died. Left one Big and fierce red crab that is still surviving. It is a survivor!!! haha... very fierce!!!

I'm supposed to find a Hk and a Korean right now. It is not easy though. But I'll try my best... I hope life will continue to get better...

Been Busy

These few days I've been working at my sweetie's office, to help him with his project. I was too busy to update my blog, but I have finally found a job for myself. I'm not sure if I will like the job, as I was told it was a challenging job and I have to be prepared. I hope I don't have to search for jobs again. As it is not easy to go through interview all over again. It's really tiring. Anyway, Today I just bought 2 small baby crab as a pet. I will upload the photo soon :) They are naughty, but cute.. They will fight, tease, may be crack some jokes.. I'm not sure what they are talking. but may be they are trying to be "crappy" hehe... coz they are crabs..
so cold hahaha... trying to save money, i bought the container from daiso, its 2 dollar, better than the $14 from the shop. then bought a mermaid statue to make the crab happier, may be i should buy a female crab statue instead... haha... but one of the crab just cut her own leg... so scary... but i heard, can grow again... :)

The last day in office was happening... as Gina wasn't around, it was a happy fun day. Early in the morning, thanks to Jorissa for the vanilla latte... so "say" and Thanks to Jorissa for the tidbits, it is a lot... How to SLIM DOWN??? hahaha... but the tidbits are really nice.

I have one of the most wonderful moments yesterday. Thank to all my dearest dear friends, most of all, to my sweetest sweetie. I have one of my wish fulfilled. I really don't know what to say, coz I really didn't expect much. I feel that I'm so blessed, Its beyond any words can explain.

I'm wearing a turtle neck, long sleeve shirt, thought that the branch will be very cold due to rainy day, but I'm totally wrong. I feel so hot, stuffy, humid that I want to faint. The air-con in the branch doesn't work. It feels terrible.. I really can't accept it. I think everybody have no mood for sales already. Even customer also no mood to buy. It feels so pek chek to be stuck in this kind of situation. Worse thing is I wear a black turtle neck!!!! argh!!!! so HOT!!! feel like having a heat sickness... May be I should eat some ice creams..........

I was totally in love with the soft sweet pink sony or casio camera, they are totally so sweet. When I have the camera, I will update my picture very often. I realise that it takes a lot of picture to capture the moment. the memorable moments, happy moments. I guess, I've missed a lot of happy moments to be captured. Especially in Singapore. haiz.... sad... Anyway, once I have it, I will make sure I make full use of it!!! hehe... I will ask my friend if I can get it cheaper.... wahahaha...

I've just tendered yesterday. I feel much relief now and I don't feel the stress anymore. I will still have to serve one month notice, but I feel much better because, I know that I don't have to make known of what I'm doing everytime, everyday. It is a tough job, although I didn't regret having this job, as I have learnt a lot of things here and I make a lot of friends, a lot of reliable friends. I really glad that I have known all of them. They have given me their support, their opinion, their help. I know that I have to move on, as I don't wish to continue to stuck into a situation where I'm not feel so happy. I hope to find the job that I like, so there won't be a day of work.

I hope to own a digital camera soon... Yesterday I went to Funan IT mall to check out some of the digital camera. I have found some nice camera that attract my attention. I almost buy it. Haha...

My Cousin's wedding

It was a busy day, where I have to wake up early in the morning around 5 a.m. just to prepare myself and catch a bus to go to the church together with all my family and relatives. It was fun once again that I am able to have a small gathering with all my cousins. Its been sometimes since we have fun together. I really miss the times when we all go overseas together when we were younger. Anyway, the day passed so fast, and honestly speaking it was a great day. I really enjoy myself and also I really feel that it was a moment to be treasured. Although the sentosa trip was cancelled, as all of us was very tired, but I felt that if the sentosa trip was on, there would be another moment. Anyway, all of us was so tired.

I can't imagine how terrible is the reward I'm getting from my work place. Its more like a punishment than a reward. I really feel so sick and tired again! I just can't change my mind. I thought I can stay longer, as they actually raise my pay, but I think I won't, coz it will only get worse. My feet so aching and so my head. My soul is drained by the work. Anyway, My DAD is coming soon!! I'm so happy to be able to see him again. I miss my daddy, mommy and my only brother!!!! I hope to be able to quit soon. I just 100% hate sales. No one able to persuade me to stay put, because I've made up my mind. I just can't continue stuck here for long. I hope to find the Job that's suits me soon. coz I really feeling so tired everyday. Its either the Customers, the Boss, the Management, the figures, the comparisons, the terror. RETREAT !!!!

Actually I'm feeling so tired and lethargic, but I can't seems to sleep. May be its because I took a nap during the journey home in the bus. I wonder if i snore....

Yesterday, the volley ball practise was fun, but may be i need more practise to improve on my volley ball skills. Then, after which we went for dinner in vivo food court. Soon after the dinner, we went to St. James to celebrate "Daniel's" birthday party. there are few types of rooms I guess, one type is called "Dragonfly" whereby its more like a concert. I don't like it though. Its too noisy and the songs are old!! hm... then the party held in "Power House" slightly better. not noisy, but still a bit too loud. I hate the feeling of having slight deaf after that. Me and Caryn only requested for a glass of water. I took sprain medicine, can't drink alcohol. Haha... after that me and Caryn went to other's room to check what they are doing. Then we play Blackjack for a while. I lost $12 eventhough I won initially... hahaha... anyway, its ok! coz its fun yeah!!

anyway, I was a bit upset that I couldn't represents the volley ball teams today. hm.... If I have known it, I wouldn't bother to go for the practise. How can they just replace me and caryn with someone that never been to practise. Its true that my volley ball skills is not good, but the replacement wasn't good either. At least, me and Caryn did some practice and there were improvements. Anyway, although our team didn't manage to win, at least we are the third. NOT SO BAD!!

One funny thing is that I wore a turtle neck and long sleeve shirts... everybody was asking me aren't u hot wearing like that? hahaha.... well, I feel that it feels better than a direct sunlight heat!!! DUN BELIEVE? WHY DON'T U TRY IT!!

Although the amazing race sounds fun, but when I heard that u have to eat grasshopper and toad, and have to swim in the sea? NO NO MAN!!! I scared swimming in the SEA!! I'm alright with swimming, just that may be not TODAY...

Yesterday the practise was super tiring!! But, I still feel that my volley ball skills not good enough to be in the competition... Hm.... may be I will be the reserve team player.. Haha.. the retreat is coming soon and it will also over pretty soon.. the T-shirt sponsored is super banana yellow and its so bright that I think the rest of the people in sentosa will get darker as there will be additional shine from our shirts... hahaha...

Sales retreat is coming pretty soon. The retreat will be on 22nd of July. Its sunday, and I am with the volley ball team. This Sunday will have to go sentosa to practise.... How? I don't wish to get tan!!! Should I wear long sleeve clothes or should I wear thick thick sun block lotion? hm..... What should I do???
I like sports, but I don't wish to get dark also...

I will bring umbrella!! hahaha..... hopefully it won't be a sunny day, may be cloudy day is a better one, then I should pray that its a cloudy cooling day!!!! yay!!!! wahahaha!!!!!

Today My daddy asked me to clean up my room, as my single bed will be changed to double bed. My room already so small. I wonder how am I going to clear up my stuff, when there are a lots of things to clear up. The worse is that I need to do it within 2 days. I wonder how am I going to do that now. I feel so stressed.
I hope I can make it through. So tired and not feeling so well today. I wish I can learn how to stop the pain. and just act like a Man! I wish to act like a Man!

This is a change of lifestyle and its very tough to adapt. I don't know if I can manage to pass through these stages well. There are lots of things for me to do, besides the dance practices that I've to do during my leisure time as well as working period, also the work that i've lacked behind somehow. I really need encouragement and support. There are lots of things in my mind, I started to think a lot. Please be patient with me.. I'm still learning.. I hate myself for doing things badly.

Feeling so lethargic, backache all over. This coming Tuesday is my first dance practise. Don't know how it gonna be, and don't know how long would it take. The worse case my basic test they still haven't change the status yet and I can't book for my final. When i called them, they said they don't have my record, while that day the printer spoil so i didn't get my "pass" proof... well, I hope I don't need to redo it.

I failed one of my papers and it feels so ... I will have to retake it, and i have to pass it this time, cause it waste a lots of time and money. I feel so terrible someway somehow.. I wish I can be my ownself, when the I is lesser than the ME, I'll feel so much better that way, but I think from now onwards, I have to be "I" most of the time. Pray for me... ^x^

I thought exam was really over. I didn't know that it is just a beginning to nightmares. Yesterday and Today, the lecturer finished all of 26 chapters and it is such a thick book. and I'll have the exam next week. Its so horrible. and it will not be easy, as the passing rate is not high. The most important things is to understand the questions and answers very well. I still have problems with my english comprehension. I'm not sure if I can make it. I'll have to study very very hard. I still have some more exams over the weeks. I hope I still can survive.

first day of work

First day of work, basically doing some admin stuff and some introduction of UOB. I meet some nice and funny people there. There are few very pretty ladies around, and I'm glad I make friends with them. It took them 45 min to make the office badge. The bad thing was that I wore the wrong shoes, the pain was unbearable. Luckily today no need to stay till 6. From tomorrow onwards, I'll have to work from 9 to 6. May be I should say, my class is from 9 to 6. Next week will have exam. Hopefully, I can survive.

I definitely enjoy my day today. I can finally meet bonbon c'est moi. Vous me manquez beaucoup. I watched "project perfect girl 6" and "Nana". It was a very nice shows. J'adore beaucoup! The steamboat was fun, I decorate Bonbon's dinner, but I am not sure if it is still edible when He's back later. Well, tomorrow would be my first day of work, after waiting for so long. What a day, eating, sleeping, exercising. Enjoying my last few days of Holidays. I will soon start my new life. An adult life, having lots of responsibilities. I know it won't be easy, but I will have to survive anyway. Today was such a Gloomy day. The weather cries all the time. Sometimes like cats and dogs, sometimes just drizzle. Christmas decorations are all up. It is one of the biggest events of the year. I'm not sure if I can enjoy christmas this year, as I'll be starting work pretty soon. The weather was gloomy, but I'm not joining the weather. Today was a fine day, because I'm in the stage of recovering. Feeling nostalgic by the music from class 95 Love, with a peace of mind and soul I relaxed myself in my room. Gazing out of the window looking at the heavy traffic and the beautiful night light. I closed my eyes and breathe in the scent of the rain. I just love the way it feels. Hopefully, I will recover in no time, so that I can dance again.

Today definitely not my day. I'm sick and yet I go out. I should have just rest at home and save myself from all the troubles. I didn't know that I felt so giddy that I hurt myself with that broken vase. Luckily no one else hurt from that accident, or else I really don't know what to do. I feel so sad for the broken vase. Although it is just $2, but its new.
